Our Horses for Heroes program started up in Fall 2018. It is a 8-week long program teaching basic ground handling and training. Veteran men and women connect with the same horse each week and progress together through basic ground work skills. Once they have completed these basic skills, the veterans will then move on to learning about tack and riding.
